Sorbus ‘Joseph Rock’

Sorbus ‘Joseph Rock’ is an elegant, upright deciduous ornamental tree valued for its colourful autumn foliage and striking butter-yellow berries. It is an excellent choice for smaller gardens, lawns, mixed borders and specimen planting.

The tree develops a graceful, upright habit with attractive pinnate green leaves, creating a light and airy canopy through the spring and summer months.

In autumn, the foliage takes on spectacular shades of orange, red and purple, providing a vibrant display. This colourful foliage contrasts beautifully with the clusters of distinctive butter-yellow berries, which add further interest and can remain on the tree into the colder months.

Its upright form makes ‘Joseph Rock’ particularly useful where a feature tree is required without taking up too much space. The combination of vivid autumn colour and unusual yellow fruit makes it a particularly striking specimen.

Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. With its elegant shape, vibrant autumn foliage and unusual golden berries, Sorbus ‘Joseph Rock’ provides colour and interest across several seasons.
