Prunus ‘Snow Showers’

Prunus ‘Snow Showers’ is a charming, compact deciduous ornamental cherry with a graceful weeping habit and masses of pure white spring flowers. It is an excellent choice for small gardens, courtyards, patios, lawns and specimen planting.

This dwarf variety forms a neat, cascading shape, with branches arching gently downwards to create an elegant weeping crown. Its compact form makes it particularly useful where space is limited, while still providing the impact of a traditional flowering cherry.

In spring, the cascading branches are covered with masses of pure white flowers, creating a spectacular display and providing a valuable source of nectar for bees and other pollinating insects.

Its small size and distinctive weeping habit make ‘Snow Showers’ particularly effective as a feature or specimen tree, where its flowers and graceful form can be appreciated at close range.

Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. With its compact size, elegant shape and abundance of white blossom, Prunus ‘Snow Showers’ is a beautiful choice for adding colour and character to smaller spaces.
