As we approach the end of 2024, we’ve been reflecting on how this year has marked an incredible milestone for Farlow Farm Nursery: 50 years of sharing a love for plants and greenery with our wonderful community!

From a two-acre site in Farlow to where we are today has certainly been a journey! We feel such a deep sense of gratitude for what we’ve shared with our customers, staff, and friends who have been part of the nursery’s story over the years.

We hope you see Farlow Farm Nursery as more than just a place to find plants – from loyal customers who have been with us for years and whose families we have seen grow with us, to new faces discovering us for the first time, we like to think of our nursery as welcoming old friends and making new ones. It’s a special place.

When we take a step back to think, we have seen so much transformation to the business over the past five decades – from small improvements and continual little tweaks to the site, to new species and varieties we have kept adding to our offer. We’ve experimented, grown, and learned so much, with every success and challenge shaping the nursery into what it is today.

We’ve been so well supported by our local community – every chat we’ve had, every plant taken home to brighten a garden, and every bit of advice we have shared, has made running Farlow Farm Nursery feel like a place filled with life.
